He's 5

I think we can officially declare that we have a big kid on our hands. This handsome guy turned 5 last Saturday and he had the best time at his Transformers Birthday Party. He helped me plan it all and it was his first all friends birthday party. Usually we do big family parties with some friends invited but this was the first year that it was just for the kids. He wanted to serve all his favorite breakfast foods which included: mini pancakes, french toast sticks, mini donuts and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. We had fun activities planned like face painting and tattoos, memory match game, build a cracker robot and of course a piñata! Mom went a little crazy and made the piñata herself after she saw how much the store wanted to charge me to purchase something that the kids would smash to smithereens! I'll admit it was a bit time consuming (maybe 3 hrs total) but only about $5! And it made for a cool photo prop. A win win in my book. I just love this guy so much. I can't believe he is 5 already. Time went slow and quick all at the same time. As he grows up I see more and more of myself in him. I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing but it totally cracks me up to see some of the things he does and listen to some of the things he says. He is my son and I am so proud of the young man he is becoming. Happy Birthday Max. I love you to infinity and beyond!

It's only t-minus 11 years before he hopes to walk out and see a car in front of the house! YIKES!

Hi Jackie! I'm in love with your photos! If you don't mind me asking, what do you use to edit? They're simply amazing.

Coolest piñata ever! Laughing at the Aubrey photo bomb holding the kids back! And the cupcake rockstar pic is my favorite! Happy birthday Max!
