Doing a little back pedaling this week. I got to go on a little Memorial Day weekend getaway with my husband to Monterey, CA (thank you family for watching our little guys!!). We attended the biggest reggae festival, The Cali Roots Festival. It's a 3 day festival full of the best bands in the reggae community. The music was AMAZING! The bands blew me away with how awesome they all sounded live. Some even better than their albums. I was so bummed I missed the deadline for a "press pass" and was denied use of my camera in the festival. I knew I could have captured some pretty awesome shots but oh well. My iPhone worked well enough. It was nice traveling so light! We had a blast being kids again. I am so blessed to have married such an amazing man. He is my best friend, my happy place, my everything. Going over these images reminded me of how awesome he is and how much fun we have together... even after all these years he is still the person I want to hang out with the most. He is the BEST! And because I have him, I have my 3 little boys. One of which 'graduated' preschool just a couple days before we left! Max has a birthday that keeps him in preschool for one more year. Which is ok because we love his school! I hope to get my booty back in gear and be more diligent in my photo taking and posting (ugh). Its almost summer time and we seem to be outside all.the.time. How about you?

Girls Just Wanna' Have Fun!

Last night my sister and two of her best friends, Megan and Kelsey, kindly gave up there evenings to help Jenni and I finish the photographs for His & Hers formal wear. We needed one last girl group photo and with the shops GRAND OPENING this weekend we had to get it quick. So we turned my house into a mini salon, got everyone ready, then off to the shop for a glamorous dress and then 'model time'! Unfortunately we were running behind so i lost all my sunlight and was without a flash!! Needless to say, we didn't get much since we had very specific needs for this photo {ie: black&white, landscape, same feel and look as mens on adjacent wall, etc.}, but the girls had a fun time and we might have got one or two options for the wall... we'll see.

Nicole's Graduation

This weekend i had the opportunity to head up to Chico and take my best friends Graduation photos!!
