Wrigley's said it best when they said "Double your pleasure, double your fun"... with TWINS!
Let me be honest and say that newborn shoots can be intimidating (your on baby's schedule NOT the photographers) but they are oh so rewarding. I always love when I have family come to me for my not so typical newborn portraits. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a cute baby in a crazy frog pose just as much as the next person but I'm just not into photographing those types of shot. I love taking a different approach to babies (and people in general). It's my goal to capture a more striped down and honest look at these magnificent little people.I have found that on occasion a photo that could be considered an outtake to one person (for whatever reason) usually ends but being a favorite of mine, which happened a couple times with this shoot. I believe that photos don't always need to be perfect (technically speaking). Sometimes its a photographs perfect imperfections are what take it from a picture to a piece of art. It's my hope that I have been able to do that for this family. I am so grateful for the opportunity to document this special time for this awesome family. Mom is a rock star and so are their two older sisters who helped out so much and were great listeners. And let me tell you... holding these two little girls sure got me ready to expand our family! Trying to rub off some of those girl vibes on me for baby number 4 (though I'm sure it will be another boy and we are totally ok with that!). And so with that, I am proud to introduce to you, Emma and Mariah.
