Part 5

I'm seriously surprised I got any shots this week. It seemed like my camera was on 1 bar of battery life the entire week so I snapped quickly when I got the camera out. Why it took me until today when my camera finally died on me to charge the batteries is beyond me. Life just gets busy and it can be hard to remember to do those seemingly simple things like recharging your batteries (metaphorically speaking too). But I am loving some of the shots this week. Especially the quick portraits I took of Max and Rex today. I opened the front door to let them out for an evening scooter session when I noticed just how soft and diffused the light was so bribed them with lollipops to hold still long enough for me to snap a photo or two of each of them. Max was more than happy to cooperate but Rex not so much. I still love his shots even though he is covering up his entire face. It's him. Its real. And it shows off all his scraps and bruises from his new scooter. He is one tough kid! We had fun celebrating St. Patricks Day and I took a shameless mom photo of my little Fox leprechaun! I just had to do it. Hopefully seeing the same ol' same isn't getting too boring around here. I think I want to try and challenge myself to try and be present in more my photos next week.
