My Awesomely Beautiful Crazy Life :: Part 4
I did it, I took my camera outside... A LOT! Yay. We have been blessed with some wonderful weather this past week here in California and we enjoyed as much of it as we could. With the extra evening light we are becoming more and more excited for summer time. This week we got out to the flea market with some friends, went to the park, played in the front yard and went to the lake. My middle child, Rex, has been afraid of swings for as long as I can remember but just in the last few park trips this year, he has been brave and actually wanted to swing on the swings for longer than half a second. In fact, I was able to capture him swinging on the big boy swings with a smile on his face! He is becoming more and more brave by the day, conquering his fears while smiling. I love that. He's also the one who decided to walk right into a freezing cold lake this week. I don't know if you have to have multiple kids to see the humor in this happening but my husband and I couldn't stop laughing and I was so happy I captured it on film! Meanwhile my oldest keeps expressing himself through his art. He is drawing monsters and vampires all over the place. He also LOVES drawing portraits of the people he loves most. He wrote his first sentence this week. I wrote "have a good day" on our street for the cars to see while they drove through and while i was busy doing other things with the other kids, Max took it upon himself to copy my letters. He was so proud of himself and I was super impressed! So happy I have that memory on file forever! And my littlest guy is so close to crawling he can taste it. Not much of him this week since 8 month olds usually have to chill in the stroller while watching the older brothers play and be crazy. So with out further adieu...
