What a beautiful baby Olive is! Don't you just LOVE all that dark hair?! This was my second newborn session this year and it was a step up from my first session thats for sure. Olive just had a little trouble falling asleep. So mom hung in there with me and did all that she could to get her to go down which was a long and bumpy process. The funny thing was we did a lot of bare skin shots so we wanted NO DIAPER LINES!! which meant she was diaper-less most of the time which caused poor mom to get peed on like 3 times and pooped on another 2 or 3 times. All we could do was laugh. Surprisingly enough, Olive never peed or pooped on a prop or background of mine, I guess she was only gunnin' for mom :D But seriously I was there from 11am to 2pm and we probably only shot 45min of that time. Newborn sessions are hard work. You're no longer on your time, the baby is the boss. But once she did go fall asleep... perfection! We got some really great shots that I have fallen in love with and I hope her family does too.
