My A.B.C Life :: week 15

My Awesome Beautiful Crazy Life
week 15

My not so little sister turn 20 years old a couple weeks ago! We had a fun girls night out and enjoyed a delicious italian dinner and ice cream cones. We may or may not have spontaneously sung happy birthday a cappella in front of a large group of people at the ice creamery just to embarrass the birthday girl. It was awesome. We also got to attend the fun backyard wedding/birthday fiesta for cousin and her daughter last weekend! My cousin Meryl and her boyfriend Chris of 9 years finally decided to tie the knot on their daughter Zoe's 1st birthday. Such a wonderful family celebration. We are all so happy for their little family. I loved all the cheerful D.I.Y decorations! Then we had FATHER'S DAY! So it TOTALLY snuck up on me this year. And I felt horrible not doing an awesome Father's Day tribute on this here blog like I did for all the moms out there, but with it sneaking up on me and it being a bit of a tricky holiday for me, it just didn't happen. But I was so happy to make it a special day for my husband who is an AMAZING dad. I sure picked a great one for my boys. They are so blessed to have him as their example. I smile the biggest smile knowing that I was able to bless them with that. They have what I lacked. What more could I ask for? We also took advantage of my grandmother visiting my grandpa's grave that day to teach our boys a little bit about their ancestors. We visited my grandpa Max's grave (this is who my Max is named after). It was cool to explain to them a little bit about death and what great man my grandpa was. It was a good day. My favorite part was having him read his Daddy questionnaire! It never disappoints. In other family news, my Rex is on a "I can't do it" kick. So we have been making him dress himself as much as possible much to his dismay. We also had a pet snail named Turbo for about a week. They even painted his shell. We have also been enjoying the warm sunshine and backyard pool. Summer time is in full swing and my boys love being outside and for the most part, naked! haha. Their tans are already out.of.control! I have 3 little copper tone boys already and it's only JUNE! Speaking of June... next week my baby Fox turns 1! I just don't know how that happened so fast. The discussion for baby #4 has begun...
