My A.B.C Life :: Week 10

Hippity Hoppity Easter came this way. What a busy busy day it was. I was go-go-go from 6am to 10pm. It was fun and exhausting all at the same time. But one thing I LOVED about the week leading to Easter this year was a photo challenge I participated in endorsed by my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. It was entitled #BecauseofHim. Everyday participants were challenged to take a photo showing how He, our Savior, is active in our daily lives and post it on instagram or FB. I loved how it really helped me focus on the true meaning of the holiday and not get too caught up in bunnies and eggs. I think I got more out of Easter spiritually this year than all years past. Although the boys did learn why we really celebrate Easter, we still indulged in coloring eggs and even got a visit from the Easter Bunny! Not only did we celebrate Easter, but we celebrated a few birthdays! My uncle turned 50 and we tried our best to make him feel just a little extra special that day. He is an amazing person and I still can not believe he is 50! I may have made him show me his drivers license just to verify. But in-between all the celebrating we had a boo-boo, some bubble fun with neighbors and my little man turned 10 months old and decided to start standing up! I really can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that he is turning 1 in 2 short months. I am truly blessed. I am thankful for it all; the good, the bad and the ugly.

**Just FYI: the "sepia" tone photos were edited BW but they keep uploading wrong!**
